Yes — we are a mobile specimen collection service, not a diagnostic lab. You'll need a physician's order (lab requisition) for us to collect your blood. Your doctor can fax or email us the order prior to your appointment.
Your results go directly to your ordering physician or healthcare provider, just as they would from any traditional lab draw. Your doctor will review and communicate results to you.
It depends on what tests your doctor has ordered. Some tests (like lipid panels and blood glucose) require fasting for 8–12 hours. Your doctor will advise you, and you can always call us with questions at (706) 974-6161.
